How Would You Spot a Deep Fake?

                Nowadays, we use most of the time using internet including social media. One day, you saw videos of president Obama talking about something unusual. And you think that was strange. Yes! most of the time, these videos are not real which is called "Deep Fake". Deep fake can mostly use in politics as propagandas. But sometimes, people use celebrities or other people's faces and voices to spread false information in social media. We should know how to classified real or deep fake. Here are some reasons to classify. Keep in mind, these tips are not true guarantee you differentiate well because of the advanced technologies which can break a lot of ethics and social standards.

1. Look at the emotions

            When you give a speech about politics, you have take seriously and focus their speech a lot. There is nothing funny in the speech. Sometimes, you realize the speaker suddenly laugh or cry in the middle of speech. You can consider that is deep fake. But, you need another reason to make sure it was deep fake.

2. Check the movements

            When the speaker give acting like a robot or frequently shake the head or take too long to open or close mouth, it is sure to classify as deep fake. But, you need to research more about these kind of video several times.

3. Watch what they said

            Imagine a terrorist could not talk about peace and a dictator could not say about democracy or human rights. If you saw they talk about something in weird ways, this could be deep fake. In social media, you need to learn about personalities to know that your idols or celebrities say real or not. For example, a stranger talked about your best friend is evil. At that time, you can immediately respond that was fake news because you know your best friend has good personality because you are get along with your best friend for a long time. 

4. Realize what's behind

            Sometimes, there is something strange in the background of the video. For example, a red SUV behind this video pass every time and repeat or a cat is jumping to the window same position several times. When you saw repeat background, you can consider as deep fake.  

            You might confuse at first. It does not matter to get mistake. You will be mastered by learning several mistakes of deep fake videos for a long time and you can share your experience to your family or friend to remind that not every video is real and trustful.
